| The Sarong, also known as an "Pareo" or perhaps more commonly in the U.S. as a beach wrap, is a length of fabric that is a wardrobe staple in the sunny tropics. Traditionally worn as a skirt, dress, or other form of beach wear the sarong can also double as a top wrap, headscarf, carry-all, beach blanket or portable, personal sun protection. They are also conveniently used as table cloths, wall hangings, window draperies and even some like to use them just as beautiful cloth for their sewing projects. Don't forget to take one with you on you next cruise or visit to the islands and they are great to wear for luaus too. Many of our sarongs are hand painted or "Batik"-ed. Because of their uniqueness items may vary slightly from those pictured. Average Sarong size is 45" x 64". |
